To use the cutting system, insert the blade holder into the straightedge
Lay the straightedge on the material you need to cut (with a cutting mat or disposable surface such as a corrugated box underneath)
Cut your materials
Then if you cut with a knife and straightedge, this system will save you a lot of time and produce consistent professional results
